Lara Logan
Lara Logan (born 29 March 1971) is a South African television and radio journalist and war reporter. She was a CBS News correspondent from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager described her factually incorrect, politically biased piece on 2012 Benghazi as "the most regrettable mistake I've made in the last 10 years." She joined Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media organization) in 2019. [4] She joined Fox Nation, a subscription streaming service owned by Fox News, in January 2020. She stated that she was "dumpedby the network in March 2022. Logan was a student as a reporter at the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989), then the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she was hired by Reuters Television in Africa, predominantly as a senior producer. After four years working for the Reuters Television network in Africa, she moved into freelance journalism. She was hired as a reporter/editor/producer by Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY (in London), CBS News, ABC News, NBC News and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN was her home, where she covered events like 1998's United States embassy bombings, in Nairobi and Tanzania. Also, the ongoing conflict between Northern Ireland and Kosovo.
