Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political advisor who served as the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 221. As a member of the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy director of communications director(2009-2011); spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015 and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki was an election contributor to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki began her professional career in 2001 with the re-election campaigns for Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was later appointed the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was in office from 2005 until 2006 as the communications director of Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was named the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 election campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was named spokesperson for United States Department of State in February 2013. [20] Her hiring at the Department of State fueled speculation that she could replace White House Press Secretary Jay Carney when he left the White House. However on May 30th, 2014 it was announced that Josh Earnest would replace Carney. In the year 2015, she was recalled to the White House as communications director and was there until the end of the Obama administration.
